Viscom Italia 2023

4-6 October 2023

Fiera Milano

Hall 12 Stand C23/33

Trade show

We will be showcasing the latest developments to our wide format range at Viscom Italia 2023

We will be demonstrating the exceptional capabilities of the latest models in our wide format range, the Acuity Prime L and the Acuity Prime Hybrid (now commercially available in Europe), at Viscom Italia, 4th – 6th October, Fiera Milano. Like the rest of the models in our new Acuity range, these printers are designed to increase commercial opportunities for large format printing businesses, delivering high quality, impressive productivity, and unmatched versatility.

The Acuity Prime L is a double bed-size LED UV flatbed printer, based on the same design as the successful Acuity Prime 20 and 30. Created with the user in mind, this cutting-edge printer combines ease of operation with a competitive ROI. Designed to deliver high quality results at remarkable speeds, the Acuity Prime L offers a larger printing table to cater to the demands of large sheet sizes without compromising productivity.

Key features include six vacuum zones, 16 media location pins, and a dual zone function enabling simultaneous side-by-side job printing.

We will also demonstrate the Acuity Prime Hybrid, the latest offering in the Acuity range, first unveiled at FESPA 2023 as the latest development to Fujifilm’s ‘new blueprint for wide format’. Each machine in the range has been developed to create the perfect combination of print speed, quality and cost-effectiveness, while incorporating multiple user-centric design elements.

The Acuity Prime Hybrid is poised to fulfil the needs of print service providers using diverse rigid and flexible media types such as Dibond, foamboard, acrylic, and polyester, across numerous applications. With standard four-colour (CMYK) options, the printer employs the same highly pigmented inks that have gained accolades in the Acuity Prime series. The precision of small ink droplets and pinpoint placement ensures unparalleled quality, even when operating at high speeds.

Paolo Zerbi, Graphic Arts General Manager, Fujifilm Italy comments: “Both the Acuity Prime L and Acuity Prime Hybrid are designed to redefine printing possibilities, developed to strike the perfect balance between output speed, print quality and value, while incorporating intuitive design features for the operator. With the announcement of the commercial availability of the Acuity Prime Hybrid, Viscom is
the perfect opportunity to showcase what the printers can offer.” For more information, visit the Fujifilm stand C23/33 (Hall 12).

Labelexpo 2023

11-14 September 2023

Brussels Expo

Hall 9 Stand C39

We will be showcasing our extensive range of analogue and digital print solutions at Labelexpo Europe 2023

We’ll be at Labelexpo Europe 2023 to demonstrate our growing range of analogue, digital and
sustainable print solutions for the label and packaging industry. New products to be showcased on the stand include:

Revoria Press PC1120
Our flagship toner-based production press in the Revoria range, the Revoria PC1120, will be demonstrated live at the show. Progressively launched throughout Europe over the past two years, it features an advanced print engine with 10 colours, including gold, silver, white, pink & clear, easily configurable in six before and after CMYK stations. With industry leading print quality, incredible media & finishing versatility, and the largest colour gamut, it is no surprise this award-winning press is taking the market by storm.

The press uses Super EA-Eco Toner, with micro scale particles which are both 20% smaller and have a 20% lower melting temperature than typical alternatives. This lets it print a broader range of media including plastics and synthetics, offering access to the packaging and labelling markets.

Jet Press FP790
We will be highlighting the Jet Press FP790 digital flexible packaging press, via a demonstration run live from our beta customer in the UK. Built on decades of Fujifilm inkjet expertise, the Jet Press FP790 features water-based inkjet technology, making it suitable for food packaging production. It is a digital alternative to flexo production for mainstream applications and print runs, meeting the strategic needs of businesses faced with the challenge of dealing with a widening variety of products – resulting in a proliferation of SKUs – and shorter delivery times.

Fujifilm imprinting solutions

Our imprinting solutions allow digital inkjet printing to be integrated directly onto existing analogue production lines. Many production setups are different, requiring a customised approach to integrate inkjet printing. Other production setups demand the scaled deployment of standard systems across sites. Fujifilm has the expertise and scale to accommodate both types of approaches. We have solutions for variable data imprinting in both monochrome and 4-color for labels. We can also provide digital varnish embellishment options up to 55 µm thick at a print speed of 50 m/min.

Analogue inks
Launched at interpack earlier this year, our new range of LED IDFC (low migration) inks and varnishes will be showcased on the stand. Available in a full spectrum of colours, the new ink set is designed for the label and flexible packaging markets where migration is a key priority, such as food applications, and is fully compatible with a wide range of commonly used label stocks and packaging materials.

Flenex FW plate production
We will be imaging our Flenex FW live on the stand to demonstrate the speed with which these water-wash plates can be made. Utilising a Luscher XPose! 330L platesetter and C-Touch processor, Flenex FW plates provide the highest print quality and productivity, while significantly lowering the cost-in-use compared to thermal, solvent or other water-wash plate technologies, with total platemaking time under 40 minutes.

At Fujifilm, we recognise that as well as looking for solutions that improve business performance, modern label producers and the brands they serve are also looking for solutions that are right for the planet. That’s why, from cutting waste, to reducing energy use, to improving recyclability, sustainability is one of the threads that links all Fujifilm packaging and labelling solutions, from analogue to digital.

Manuel Schrutt, Head of Packaging, Fujifilm EMEA comments: “We’re delighted to be attending Labelexpo Europe once again after a four year hiatus. The show presents the ideal platform to showcase our ever-expanding solutions for the packaging and labelling market. We offer a range of sustainable solutions that support analogue production while leading the long-term transition to digital and look forward to showcasing these while connecting with existing and potential customers at the show.”

Hall 17, Stand E50

We will be showcasing our extensive range of digital print solutions at The Print Show 2023

Our 240m2 stand will be the largest single exhibitor stand in the history of the exhibition and will demonstrate the breadth of our digital inkjet and toner solutions, spanning the commercial, wide format and packaging print sectors.

We have decided to use The Print Show 2023  to demonstrate our rapidly growing range of digital print solutions for multiple market sectors – from commercial, to wide format and packaging print. We will be showcasing our brand new Revoria range of digital toner solutions, launched in the UK earlier this year. The flagship, award-winning 6-colour Revoria Press PC1120 will be on display, alongside three other models in the series – including two new machines, yet to be announced. Also being demonstrated will be our new XMF PressReady digital workflow solution, designed to help commercial printers manage digital production to multiple digital presses.

We will also be showcasing two models in our expanding Acuity wide format range, including the new Acuity Prime Hybrid, launched at Fespa earlier this year, and the Acuity Prime flatbed.

The following solutions will be demonstrated on the stand:

Toner technologies

Revoria Press PC1120

Our flagship production press in the Revoria range, the Revoria PC1120, will be demonstrated live at The Print Show. Launched in the UK in May 2023, it features an advanced print engine with 10 colours, including gold, silver, white, pink & clear, easily configurable in six before and after CMYK stations. With industry leading print quality, incredible media & finishing versatility, and the largest colour gamut, it is no surprise this award-winning press is taking the market by storm.

 ApeosPro C Series

Also launched in the UK in May 2023 was the ApeosPro C Series – Our entry level range of four-colour printers that offer exceptional quality for businesses with lower production volumes. They are built on a next-generation platform, with all printers in the range able to produce superb, high quality print on a wide range of substrates and for a wide range of applications.

XMF PressReady and Revoria Flow

Controlling the Revoria Press PC1120 is the Revoria Flow DFE, a powerful front end system to manage ripping, colour management, special colour control and more. When combined with Fujifilm’s XMF PressReady digital workflow, it can completely automate the flow of print work from order intake to printed product by pre-configuring and automating the flow of work through the Revoria Flow DFE.

Wide Format

Acuity Prime Hybrid

Launched at FESPA earlier this year, the Acuity Prime Hybrid can print on substrates up to 2m in width. It can print on up to four pieces of rigid media simultaneously, and features registration pins for highly precise edge to edge printing. The Acuity Prime Hybrid can produce print at production quality from 92m2 per hour.

Acuity Prime 30

Released in mid-2021, the Acuity Prime 30 is a stylishly designed flatbed printer that prints at unprecedented speeds with exceptionally high quality onto a range of rigid and flexible media. The flatbed machine, which is available with four, five or six ink channels, prints at widths of up to 2.54m on media up to a thickness of 51mm.

Andy Kent, Division Manager, Fujifilm UK comments: “It’s an exciting time for Fujifilm. Following multiple exciting announcements over the past year across the commercial print, wide format and packaging sectors, there’s no better place than the Print Show for us to showcase how we can help our customers transform their businesses with our leading digital solutions.”
